Solar Eclipse: May 20, 2012

Now I know lots of people were looking at the Solar Eclipse this past Sunday, and some even have amazing pictures of it. This is the best we were able to do.
We were at Cameron's parent's house when we decided to find out what time we'd be able to see it. It happened to be happening right at that moment, so we ran outside and saw it through some welding masks the Robbe had in his shed.

We thought we looked funny, so Christine took some pictures
Derek didn't know what was happening but was happy to be outside for a while
This is probably the best picture we got, the sun looks like the moon, the reason why it looks green is because we took the pictures through the welding masks.
So glad we were able to witness something to incredible.

Quarter of a Century Old

We celebrated my birthday twice this year. Once with my family, which was a surprise and the other with Cam's family. I'd just like to thank everyone for making my 25th birthday fun and for all the fun things I received. I got a bunch of candy, Our Best Bites cookbook, new running shoes, new phone, new sandals, cash, jewelry and yankee candle diffuser and I might be forgetting somethings since it takes me so long to blog.

I'm getting old quick, better start using up my time wisely and be a better person!!

3rd Place

May 12 was when I ran this 5K. It was a lot of fun and I was excited that I finished 3rd in my category (Ages 24-28). It was a fun course around the outlets. I hope I can participate in many more events like this, perhaps run a 10K next time.
We didn't get great pistures but this is me crossing the finish line at 26:59. Which was way better than the last 5k.

Four Years

I hadn't realized I hadn't posted this, it's been saved in my posts for a while, sorry folks!

As of last month we've been married for four years. Four years ago I made the best decision in my life, to marry such a wonderful person. He is my best friend and my everything. So to celebrate we planned some fun things to do, some with Derek and for some we had to leave him with my mom. We started by going to the Griffith Park Observatory. Cameron had never been there so we thought it was something quick we could do as a family.

Then we went to the Peterson Automotive Museum

Cameron wanted a picture of everything in there, so these are just a few.

For our actually anniversary day, Cameron surprised me by taking the day off to do more fun things. So we dropped Derek off and went straight to the Threshold Indoor rock Climbing. We only took videos in there so I don't have any pictures. We learned that rock climbing at Lake Perris is so much easier, or at least for me. I was only able to climb twice :( Cameron did a lot better.

This whole time, I didn't know Cameron had planned for the day so I was just riding along with him and waiting for my next suprise. We drove out to Corona and arrived at an Indoor Sooting Range. Once I saw the sign, I got so excited and scared.
I ended up doing better than Cameron...HA!

On the left is Cameron's and mine is on the right. I hit nine in the middle green!!!

After this we went to Indoor Kart Racing. It's one of our favorite activities, whenever we can we hit the track! I beat him at shooting but he beat me at racing. I'm so glad I can both do and enjoy the same things, we had a blast!!!
